
The Barnard Inn Restaurant and Max’s Tavern are operated by Chef-Proprietor Will Dodson. A quintessential Vermont dining and wedding destination, The Barnard Inn, is a 1796 colonial chateau nestled amongst sweet maple trees, perennial gardens, rolling hills, dairy and organic farms. Will had previously co-owned and co-operated operated two successful restaurants in San Francisco; Frascati and Élan Vital. Today, The Barnard Inn offers seasonal -fresh cuisine with rustic with country elegance. The menu now features more local and organic ingredients, much of which is grown in the Barnard Inn Gardens in the summer months.
